MO SALAH IS GIVING BACK AGAIN AND THIS TIME IS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

 

Honestly though, is there anything Mo Salah can’t do? He’s known for paying it forward, giving back and helping make things better. We’re glad to see that more awareness is being made to clean our oceans, and Mo Salah is contributing to this amazing cause.

 

Mo Salah has funded the building of a school in his hometown, Nagrig, he’s helped make his village better, he’s also taken a stand against youth drug addiction! He’s constantly spreading awareness for important causes and having contributed a lot to his team, the UEFA Champions League winner is now spreading awareness on plastic pollution, one of the biggest threats facing our environment and planet.

 

Teaming up with Adidas alongside famous athletes such as David Beckham, Caroline Wozniacki, Alexander Zverev, and supermodel Karli Kloss releasing a campaign for Run for The Oceans, in collaboration with Adidas and Parley, and we’re here to break everything for you.

 

On the 8th of June which is World Oceans Day, Adidas collaborated with Parley to launch Adidas Parley. The main focus of this campaign is to raise awareness and address the environmental issues that are facing our oceans today due to the huge amount of plastic pollution.

 

The collaboration is trying to include everyone in the movement, make it easier and healthier to clean our seas and oceans, the global movement is called ‘Run For The Oceans’ the Adidas Parley shoes are produced with plastic ocean depress and also through the product, they get to raise money to help young people everywhere on how to reduce ocean plastic.

 

An estimated 8 million tons of plastic infiltrate the world’s oceans, every year. Scientists say, by 2050 the world’s oceans will have more plastic than fish, which means marine life will no longer cease to exist because we can’t change our toxic habits. We have witnessed an increasing amount of deaths by plastic debris in the last couple of years, more marine lives are being endangered because of plastic and trash dumbed in our oceans and seas. Run For The Oceans is Adidas’s creative way to raise awareness and taking action towards cleaning our oceans.

 

it’s announced that for every kilometer tracked with the Runtastic app during the challenge, $1 will be contributed to fighting marine plastic pollution. So, if you want to save the planet and looking for an easy but a healthy way to do that, you can download the app and go on a run. You will be doing the planet and your health a favor!
